The stilt artists from HOCHKANT

The HOCHKANT team consists of around 20 stilt artists who form up to suit each engagement. Some of them have been with us for many years. But we also always welcome the fresh wind of young artists. Almost everyone in our group learned the stilt art at HOCHKANT and refined their theatrics here. They themselves have training and experience in dance, acting, theater and circus or circus education, art and much more. Everyone also pitches in: sewing costumes, soldering LED technology, drilling and other things are regularly on the agenda. This promotes understanding of the elaborate costumes that our stilt artists wear and embody.

The name HOCHKANT implies the passion to take people away from their everyday lives, to forget them and to take them into a world full of fantasy. The artists want to entertain the audience with our Stilt figures inspire, seduce and also make you laugh.

With this intention, HOCHKANT has already attended over 1000 events of various kinds.
